Fahrer Briefing

1.1 Arrival on Thursday

Direct travel to the airfield is not possible on Thursday. Flight operations run until 6:00 p.m., and setup cannot begin before then.

In order not to hinder the construction crew in their work, the access area to the airport is closed to arriving visitors. Anyone wishing to arrive on Thursday must go to the meeting point:

The race office will be open at the meeting point from 12 noon. There, the paperwork will be taken care of and the admission wristbands will be handed out. Drinks can be purchased on site at the motorcycle club’s clubhouse, and you can sit comfortably in the garden until the race office crew gives the go-ahead to move to the airfield.

1.2 Arrival on Friday and Saturday

2.1 Acceptance of paperwork

If you haven’t registered online yet, you can still sign up for the race at the registration container if there are still spots available and complete the paperwork.

You will be given your access authorisation, wristbands, a rubbish bag and the technical questionnaire in order to take part in the technical scrutineering.

The race office is open as follows:

  • Thursday, July 16, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the meeting point
  • Friday, July 17, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the registration container at the airfield entrance
  • Saturday, July 18, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the registration container at the airport entrance

2.2 Deposit bag for waste

In addition to the ticket fee for the camping and driver ticket, a deposit of €10 for a garbage bag must be paid in cash. Upon departure, the filled garbage bag can be handed in at the exit at the garbage compactor and the deposit will be refunded in cash.

2.3 Starting numbers

In principle, the start number that we issue during the registration/paper inspection is the leading one. Old or other start numbers on the vehicle must be removed/ taped off

When assigning start numbers, we first orientate ourselves according to the permanently assigned start numbers of the DMSB, then according to the permanently assigned start numbers of the other European ASNs. Only then do we allocate a start number.

3. Paddock – Special features

3.1 Location plan

3.2 Tent fastening – Drilling in the ground is strictly forbidden!

Drilling holes in the ground in the paddock is strictly prohibited! Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the competition and a penalty fee of 250.00 Euro per hole drilled.

3.3 Environmental regulations

Refueling, changing engine oils or lubricants and coolants on the racing vehicles is only permitted in the pits. A liquid-absorbing tarpaulin under the entire vehicle is mandatory.

The driver is responsible for disposing of fuel, engine oil, lubricants, and coolants. He must have appropriate containers ready and take them home or bring them to a specialized disposal company himself. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the competition and a penalty fee of €500.00.

3.4 Night-time rest

The night’s rest begins at 10 pm and ends at 8 am. No vehicles may be started or moved in the paddock or camping area during this time.

If you want to party longer, you can go to the party tent next to the race track. Out of consideration for the riders and families, loud music and loud conversations in large groups should be avoided.

3.5 Driving in the paddock

The maximum speed in the paddock and pit area is 5 km/h.

Vehicles parked in the paddock without access authorisation will be towed away (the fee will be paid by the person collecting the vehicle).

For all service vehicles (including service scooters/motorcycles), the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) apply with the corresponding volume in accordance with the operating licence.

The use of motorised devices of any kind is prohibited for children!

Drivers may be removed from the race if their crew and/or children do not comply with the rules. Children up to the age of 12 may only be in the paddock under adult supervision. Roller skates, skateboards and similar items are prohibited in the paddock and will be confiscated by security until the end of the event.

3.6 Breakfast

This year, we are once again offering our visitors, drivers, and team members fresh rolls for breakfast. The bread order must be placed at the service point the day before to ensure that there are enough rolls available in the morning. You are also welcome to send us your order in advance by email to info@jade-race.com .

4. Technical inspection

4.1 Technical inspection

The inspection will take place in the designated technical inspection zone at the beginning of the line-up. It starts on:

  • Friday, July 17, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 18, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

After technical scrutineering, the driver receives a sticker with his start number, which is affixed to the right-hand side of the vehicle. Without this sticker, the driver will not be authorised to start. The Dial In’s must also be written on the right-hand side.

4.2 Safety instructions

You must familiarise yourself with the safety regulations for your vehicle and protective clothing in advance of the event. If a defect is found during technical scrutineering, this can no longer be rectified on site and you will not be authorised to start. The entry fees/tickets will not be refunded, as this is your own fault!

4.3 Change of class

A class change can be made before the event and at the latest during technical inspection directly by the technical commissioners. A race secretary is available at the container at the entrance to the race track, who can make the class change directly in the computer system and reissue the entry documents.

5. LineUp

The LineUp has 6 lanes. You will find signs with the respective class name at the very beginning of the entrance to each lane. In addition, the LineUpCrew and the PitMarshalls will be at your side and will sort you according to the necessary order, e.g. during the eliminations.

6. Track

6.1 Starting number and Dial In

The starting number and the dial-in must be clearly visible on the right-hand side of the vehicle so that the timekeeper can read them.

Alternatively, the dial-in can also be shown on a white board/slip of paper by a crew member in the direction of the timekeeping. Alternatively, the class can also agree to name the dial-in to the pit marshal so that he can submit it to the timekeeping for the class.

6.2 Brake chute

The brake chute must be unlocked before the burnout!

Due to the strong crosswind, the rider decides for himself whether to activate the brake chute. With a total track length of 1459 metres, the rider has more than 1000 metres of run-out.

To deploy the brake chute, stop only on the return leg, not on the track or at the exit (in the exit area / Exit 3 orange area).

6.3 Burn Out

Burnouts are permitted for all classes with drag slicks beyond the starting line.
Burnouts beyond the starting line are prohibited for vehicles with street tires.
All motorcycle classes perform burnouts on the plate. Only rolling burnouts (with square/wide slicks) are permitted for motorcycles on asphalt. The visor on the motorcycle helmet must be closed before staging.

6.4 Safety instructions

All safety regulations must be strictly observed!
Excessive braking after the finish line is not necessary as there is sufficient run-out. In the direction of travel, the driver on the right should always enter the return lane first to avoid unwanted crossing. When turning into the return lane, the driver on the left must be sure that he is not endangering the driver on the right.

6.5 Exit

We have several exits from the race track for the return journey. Basically the following applies:

  • 1/4 mile distance:
    • The third (last) exit is always taken
    • the right lane always turns first before the left lane turns
  • 1/8 mile distance:
    • The juniors always take the first exit in the 1/8 mile
    • The other classes always take the third (last) exit at the 1/8 mile
    • the right lane always turns first before the left lane turns

6.6 Returnlane

The return route leads along the race track back to the paddock. Helicopter flights will continue to take place on the left-hand side of the return route during the event. Therefore, the speed on the return is limited to 50 km/h. In this area, the brake pads must be secured in such a way that they do not enter the area where helicopters are taking off or landing.

6.7 Running order / procedure

It will start in the following running order:

  • JDB – Junior Drag Bike
  • JD – Junior Dragster
  • TTC8 – Test&Tune Car 1/8 Mile
  • TTB – Test&Tune Bike
  • TTC4 – Test&Tune Car 1/4 Mle
  • ETB – E.T.-Bike
  • SCB – Super Comp Bike
  • OSL – Public Race
  • SET – Sportsman ET
  • PET – Pro ET

Important! If you need more test runs in addition to your class runs or have already been eliminated, you can queue in the ‘Test & Tune’ class at any time to receive additional track time.

7. Announcements from the sports officials

7.1 Official notice board

7.2 Timetable

We constantly update the timetable during the event. Time delays are incorporated directly so that you know when your class will start and whether it will start at all on that day.

7.3 Withdrawal from the race

Anyone dropping out due to a defect is obliged to report to the race director or the race secretary directly at the container on the race course so that alternates can move up.

8. Evening event

The CashDays will take place on Saturday evening as part of the evening show. It is scheduled to start at 6.30 pm and end at 10 pm.

9. Award ceremony

The trophy presentation will take place on Sunday directly after the last run in front of the DHRA trailer.

10. Departure

10.1 Deposit bag delivery – receipt of waste deposit

At the exit, there is a rubbish container on the left where you can drop off your rubbish. You can also get your deposit for the rubbish bag back in cash there.

It is not possible to dispose of fuels, engine oil, lubricants and coolants. These must be taken home or taken to a specialised disposal company.
